About Algys Farm Shop
Manor Farm, established in 1931, has evolved over the years. Initially cultivated by the current owner's grandfather, it produced traditional crops like wheat, barley, and sugar beet, along with blackcurrants, poppies, peas, and brassicas. Gradually, the farm adapted, selling bird seeds and expanding into seasonal produce, including Christmas trees, sweet corn, and pumpkins. It has transitioned from dairy and beef herds to focus on arable crops. Manor Farm's rich history reflects its connection to the land and its response to changing demands.
